Thick, but smells nice and absorbs into the skin quickly
This serum is most definitely fast absorbing. It's thick, but you rub it in, and then it's fine. I've used it both on wet hair (on the weekend when I'm home) and at night before bed. Both are fine. The product says to use for three weeks. I suspect that's how much is in the bottle.
When it comes to reading the directions, WOW, I had to look them up on line as they are so small on the back of the bottle and the dark shading on the bottle itself doesn't help. I ran into this problem with another Kerastase product. Other than that, I'm looking forward to my three week mark to see if it truly balances my scalp.
