Bait and Switch
2 of 2 found this helpful While I knew I wouldn’t probably get the exact rock wand pictured, I did hope to get one with multiple colors resembling the picture. I was very disappointed. One color, little transparency.

Excellent book for new collectors - and is a solid resource.
What an excellent resource for a new collector! It contains practical advice, great educational information, and details some of the pitfalls of collecting costume jewelry. It is one of the best books I've purchased and I still come back to check details. Great arrangement and wonderful pictures.

Great reference for any collector, wonderful value.
2 of 2 found this helpful Great book, includes a variety of jewelry types and gives the reader a general value for the pieces. The author gives the new collector an excellent foundation to collecting. Easy to read, you can pick it up, read, lay it down and not lose your train of thought. Again, the variety of costume jewelry explained and the culture that made it, gives the reader an excellent reference. Would like to see a more in-depth reference by the author, great information and presentation.
