Disappointing results on Braun Silk-Epil hair remover
1 of 1 found this helpful I actually decided to toss this product after two uses. It did not work for me, but maybe it will work for others. Once in a while it would "catch" a hair in the mechanism head, but not consistently. It was not as painful as I thought it would be, so maybe that is a sign that it was not working that well. Also, it caused me to break out in large red bumps for several hours afterwards. I have a long history of using hair removal wax, etc, and have never had particularly sensitive skin before. Some redness and irritation is to be expected, but this seemed excessive to me. Also, I should say, however, that I have a coarser facial hair, so maybe for finer hairs it would work. I would like to say, too, that I have never used a facial epilator before, so maybe this is a normal reaction as far as the bumps. Also, I purchased this as a slightly used product; while it seemed to be in a "like new condition," in all fairness maybe the condition of this particular unit was different than a brand new one? A lesson to be learned, though, if I can help someone else. I debated a long time before buying this, and when I saw one become available for less, decided to give it a try, but just wasted the money - no way really to get a refund if the product just doesn't work for you, but is not "defective" per se. Make sure you will be able to use a product before purchase!

Good food processor for the price
Considering the price range, this seems to be an adequate basic food processor, Work bowl made of plastic, not glass. No problems with first few uses, but have not done extremely hard foods, and can't yet speak for durability. .

For the price, seems to be a good quality plastic, has a special ergonomic rubber grip, and a good snap-down lid.
