#6 Gamakatsu red octopus hooks
These hooks packaged from a bulk packaging don't seem as sharp as the small packages of Gamakatsu hooks I have purchased from retail stores however they have all been #4's, #2's and up to 3/0 sizes. I haven't hooked any larger fish to see how they hold up to the job of landing 4# to12# steelhead.

Magnetic Induction Heater
This was purchased as a less expensive option brass cartridge annealer however it has not proven to work at this point. It does heat but not nearly as quickly as was expected.
