Glass is good and fits perfectly. The sealing tape was too thin for my fire but it is a very old model. Mine has asbestos sealing string about 4mm. Maybe the later fires have a shallower housing.

good for price.

Seems good for price. Only minor quibble is you have to switch off before lifting . No auto switch off except by leaving to boil for half a minute or so.
