Gary Moore - Scars (CD 2002)
One thing you can say about Gary Moore is whilst he seems to repeat tracks already released, that's where the repitition ends for one isn't bored at listening to old renditions for he never seems to produce the same title parrot fashion. Having heard all these tracs, there was no way I could say they were repeats for his handling of each track was completely different from his previous efforts. 'I just can't let you go' is a good example running for just 7 minutes 47 seconds. Almost a completely different arrngement.
Some great rocking tracks (When the Sun goes Down, Rectify and a great bluesy 'Ball and Chain'.
A good cross section of music we have got used to from Gary?

If our inte Jazz/Funk groups, this is one of the best from Sakatak.
Having wrecked a double cassette tape to to magnetic interference, I decided to replace both on CD. The bonus were the additional re mixes. A great Jazz/Funk group.

Firehouse Five +2 Goes to a Fire
Firehouse Five +2 goes to a fire is more tongue in cheek great jazz. This compilation contains a number of tracks I was not familiar with until now. They obviously had great fun putting this lot together and it spreads to the listener. 12 great tracks bells and sirens included. A brilliant CD.
