If you can find an early one, without the plastic wheels, they are really nice runners and are quite durable. The plastic ones run great, but don't have that Flyer look!!! I really like any model, but especially the early ones!!!

Flyer caboose rolling stock
Love these old American Flyer rolling stock pieces. This old girl is in great shape. Very nice looking at the end of the train. Pull it behind my circus train!! The yellow works well.

Very nice flyer piece if you can keep the spotlight mount in tact. It's pot metal and bends or brakes very easily. Bought 4 and 3 arrived with mount damaged. Recommend double box and small cardboard box just around the mount.
