A bit dated and repetitive
I like to continually, and constantly review my rules information, so I am always looking for books like this. For the everyday fan, this book is probably a good buy, but the reading might be a bit dry. In that case, it might be best to buy this with the actual rule book, too, for comparison. For the coach or official, it is a helpful review, and a decent reference, but it is a bit dated. The nice thing about it is that it can usually be found for a very low price, and, for that reason, it is a good value. If you want to add it to your library of similar material, or to add to a library that has little or none of the same type of thing, it would be OK. Other than that, I probably would recommend just going with the regular rule book, or finding videos on YouTube.

It's "American Made" !
I love American Made products, and this shovel is an example of why. It's sold at a fair price, it has outstanding design, and it is even more durable than you can imagine.
I was kind of cautious about the "plastic" blade, but I've had one for five years now in Colorado that still looks almost brand new. The blade is still intact, and uncracked, and all of the other parts are still just as good as new. Everyone who sees or uses my shovel falls in love with it instantly. It has the size that makes even big jobs go easily. Just keep in mind that this blade is NOT made for lifting snow, and you should avoid doing that. This blade is designed for "pushing" snow out of the way. What I do when there is a snow storm is I don't wait for all the snow to fall. Instead, I go out every couple of hours, and push off any accumulation. Sure, I have to go out more often, but each time is way easier than if I waited until the end, and I never have to "lift" any snow at all!
I love that I can easily buy replacement parts on line when needed, but I have never needed to do so.
My only complaints with this shovel are 1) I wish the wheels were closer together for doing smaller, narrower walks. Some narrow, suburban walks are too narrow for both wheels to be on the ground, so you have to kind of hold the blade up. And, 2) I wish there were a third option of "straight ahead" on the angled blade. I like the angle, and it's great for clearing sidewalks, but a "straight"option may sometimes be more beneficial on big driveways.
All in all, it's a great shovel at a great price, and it will greatly reduce any owner's fear of Winter snows.

It should do the job it's supposed to do
The most important features of this device are its filters. They do the bulk of the work. The item has a pleasant appearance, and it is quiet, but I discovered by taking it apart that there really isn't much to it. It's pretty much plastic, a blower, and four filters. There is an electronic control unit for on/off, speed control, and different settings, but there is hardly enough to the machine to feel the quality of the construction warrants the relatively high price.
On a positive note, it is "Energy Star" rated, so it should use electricity, it is relatively quiet, and it seems to work.
On the negative side, I do not understand why they made three compartments for three, identical filters installed side by side behind a carbon filter. Why didn't they just make one, lone, main filter? The carbon filter is a lone filter covering the area of intake, so why not the HEPA filters, too?
