I installed two kits on my 1/4" and 3/8" craftsman ratchets. My 1/4" ratchet was not locking in place and slipping when in use. The kits fit as advertised. The parts were almost identical to the original in function. The original square drive where the sockets fit did not have a pin that extended. The kits did. The pin allows for oiling the socket ball. The ratchets work smooth now. I also have a 1/2" ratchet that did not need a kit. When it does, I will purchase one of these.
