Almost perfect for my house
There are 2 parts setting up this device: 1. Install phone application and pair with device 2. Pair each channel with LED controllers The first part was very easy, no problem at all. At second part I had some trouble because I had to setup the controller first to be sure it was selected the type of led stripe I was using. Since I had only white color LED and my controller was selected RGB, I couldn't see the flashing after pairing. So I pressed the button on the LED controller till the indicator had the right color. After that, following the instructions, I paired the WiFi controller with LED controller very easy. The only problem I noticed is the latency. Sometimes I have to press few times for a command to be taken. I use HTC 820s, is a fast enough phone and all devices was nearby, I have a good Mikrotik router and still have big latency.

Quality product
I still cannot say if there is any difference between this product and the original that came with my PC. Looks perfectly similar, even the stamped codes so I believe 99.99% that is Dell original product.

I bought 3 of this adapters and they are working just fine. I like that it fits very well to my laptops and the catch system won't let lose if you move the cable or laptop. You must press to unplug it. This kind of adapters protect better the laptop's input connector comparing to the compact adapter (without cable) because won't force that much to bend.
