Not long enough...
I took one star off due to the included A/C adapter having a relatively short cord. I had to order a replacement adapter(actually I bought two just to be sure to have a long enough cord) just to get more flexibility with the player's location in relation to the wall socket. The battery is not a 5 hour battery. I fully charged it before I used it for the first time. I played a one hour forty-one minute movie and followed it with a three hour movie that only made it about half way through before the 'connect a/c/adapter' started flashing.

Can't beat the price...
I bought one of these to 'get acquainted' with this technology as I've never had anything like these before. I also bought a small(holds eight pop cans) refrigerator to keep insulin cold in the event of a power outage. One of these will run that refrigerator for 6.5 hours before reaching zero. I recharged it and ran the same experiment and got the same results. So I bought two more(the price is the best anywhere). Now I have a 19.5 hour capacity.
