Lamps work great, but dimmer than old T8 bulbs
3 of 3 found this helpful I tested these LED bulbs vs. the old T8 fluorescent bulbs that they were supposed to be replacing.
I used a light meter normally used for photography.
A brand new (GE Biolux 32w) T8 put out 1450 lux.
A 10 year old T8 GE Biolux 32w put out 1270 lux.
This brand T8 LED put out 970 lux.
All measured at 1 meter distance in the same fixture.
I was going to re-lamp my entire office, but these LED bulbs are much too dim for that purpose.
