I dig it.
3 of 4 found this helpful I typically use fuzz pedals but I like this pedal. It is not as 'over the top' as a lot of fuzz pedals, and it has better note definition with chords. I wouldn't say this is a 'pure' metal pedal, and that's what I like about it. If you dime all 4 knobs and you run through a Marshall, well then by golly it will be crazy in a metal way -- but what pedal wouldn't be? Even then, it retains a sort of 70's vibe and not some nu metal thang. For me, playing through a bedroom amp, it is nice because I can play with the EQ (bass, treble) and can get a nice sound that doesn't explode if you play non-barre chords like a heavy fuzz will. And although the knobs don't have a great range, you have a bit more room to play around with vs. your typical old-skool fuzz. I think it's a hoot -- just think about how you play and what you want to come out the speakers from whatever equipment you play through.
