The end of an era
Microsoft bought Nokia's phone business and then proceeded to screw it up. Feature phones were ignored. PC Suite support ended. According to Microsoft's phone website, the 301 does not exist. The 301 may be good internationally but only the most basic of functions seem to work for me. I am using mine on Tracfone. After 2+ weeks, I can only perform basic functions. FM radio works. Since the PC Suite interface is obstinate, I have not yet figured out how get apps, ringtones, or even sync the device. Still trying.
Big plus points for audio quality and screen clarity.

My mistake
Mushy audio, much poorer than earlier models.

Gave it to a 10 year old.
Light inadequate for most tasks, flickers. Software on CD is worthless, Freeware on Internet works fine. Good for curious children.
