Great deal for a 3-9 hunting scope

I put this on my Remington 783 in 30.06 and took it out to zero yesterday. Adjustments were easy and zeroed at 100 yards quickly. Then I stretched it out to 600 yards. 9 power magnification with this type of reticle on a budget rifle is not at all ideal for that distance, but I got some repeated hits as long as the barrel was cool enough. Returned to zero at 100 yards perfectly on the first try. I was impressed. Not meant for 600 yard shooting, but it's solid for a hunting rifle.

Bout it

I bought the one for my Remington 783 first and ordered this one immediately after receiving it. These are a great upgrade for bolt action rifles and make the gun look and feel more expensive than it is. You can manipulate the bolt easily with your palm instead of grabbing it with your fingertips and being careful not to rake your knuckles on the scope. I never leave reviews for any of my purchases, but these are great. My friend is pissed he can't find anything similar for his Savage Axis II.
