Rapid camera shoulder strap
1 of 1 found this helpful You get what you pay for in this product. Overall is is very good value for light to medium use. I found the shoulder pad was a little too stiff for lengthy use and not quite moulded as the more expensive straps. It does offer a zipped pocket for storage which is useful.
The strap it's self appears a little thin and fimmer on first sight but in use is solid enough for the task, with two clamp buckles to stop camera movement and reposition shoulder pad. Movement of the camera is very smooth, with a good sized camera clamp, this I found to be the items main down fall, the locking mechanism can move during use, and is a little fiddlerly to attach and detach from the base plate. the base plate it's self is rugged sturdy with an off set hole for strap attachment meaning the camera can be tripod mounted with the strap in place due to a camera screw fitting with a tripod bush fitted.
Overall I am happy with the strap but as with everything time will tell.

Replacement softbox
Once I unpacked this soft-box the feel told me the quality was much better than the soft-boxes I already had, much heavier material. Sure enough once erected I was very pleased. The umbrella fit the frame snugly and the mechanism was smooth and sure. The diffuser was what I would call off-white which was a dissapointment.
One thing that is not obvious is the fact the umbrella will not angle downwards at 45 degrees, because the slot in the umbrella into which the light stand fits limits this, even with a flash tilt head..
Everything being said a good value entry level product for the price.
