Works for 3 days, then fails, more noisy that original OEM.

Worked, but only for 3 days, I wanted a 241509402 and they shipped me the 241509401. I'm not sure if that is what the problem was, but I replaced it with another 241509402 for $45 and now it also fails. Maybe only OEM is the best. Either that or the computer board is bad. Maybe if you wanted the 241509401 it will work for you.

Beltronics Pro RX65 Radar Detector

Never had a ticket after I bought this.

I think Escort bought Beltronics because they really had better technology. I've used this unit for years and it never lets me down, I've never had a ticket except for the time sped past an unmarked who didn't have his radar on. It picks up radar from the back too because there is a small wave tunnel which sends the radar into the antennae from the back, and this works well. I drive in MN and they only have Ka band in the suburban/urban area, so I recently turned off all K (and POP and X) band and I don't get any more false positives. If I was going rural, or in WI, I can enable these at any time. I've never seen anything but Ka, you need to check your area to make sure. I've never had any calibration errors with this, its always been extremely reliable.
