Excellent insulation
1 of 1 found this helpful Just got back form a week of camping in the high desert of eastern Oregon. Instead of a sleeping bag I used this blanket and an omniheat bag liner. I was comfortable in temperatures from the mid 60's down to freezing.

Good for looks, maybe not for VFG mounts.
They look fine, but the edges are rough. I only got the for aesthetic reasons, not to mount anything too critical to. They are MOE, which confuses some people because all MOE handguards made today are M Lok. These are MOE mounts. That should be clear from the picture, but people still get confused. They look great on an FDE ACR.

Pretty slick
If you want grip, maybe go with the type 1. I went with these because they looked better, but they are quite slick in the hands.
