Definitely Buy the Genuine Part
1 of 1 found this helpful The genuine Pfister cartridge turns on/off (pulling out and pushing in) the water and changes temperature (twisting clock or counterclock-wise) very fluidly. The generic off-brand I had before did not offer nearly as smooth operation, and became very sticky in a matter of months. It's definitely worth the extra few $$ to get the genuine part.
