Nice guards
The guards will break if you hit something hard enough, but I don't think that is a bad thing as they do absorb some of the shock which helps protect your Phantom. I would rather have the guard break than the arm on the drone... I think the mounting brackets help to reinforce the drone shell near the motor mounts where a lot of people have had cracking problems. The colors make it easier to see which way you are flying. I don't use them all the time as they do affect performance slightly. I have broken these twice, and would buy again without hesitation.
