    I have a piece of Hyalite opal of my own that I purchased on eBay, I have some experience. While the item is SW reactive this one has no sustained glow like my other opal Hyalite, and will not react to LW like my other Hyalite opal. I’m glad I didn't pay more because this is'nt what I what I wanted and may be why the shop keeper did not directly answer this question when asked repeatedly; and instead gave me another answer that had to do with "not coming from china.” Fast shipper too.
