Classic Heart album features some of the best songs in their catalog!
Bought this as part of my ongoing project to reacquire titles I once owned on vinyl. Casual followers of rock music might think this album is notable only for the massive hit "Barracuda" but they would be wrong. "Little Queen" also includes the funky title track, the underrated rocker "Kick It Out," and in my opinion the best song Heart has ever written in the ballad "Love Alive," a song so well thought of that the sisters named this year's reunion tour in its honor. Check it out!

Traditional, Power Metal stand the test of time!
I owned this on vinyl back in the day, and the songs sound even better to me now than they did then! Maybe it's because this style of metal doesn't get played much anymore, but I appreciated the classic approach used on this album. Recommended!

Mixed bag featuring lots of covers still a treat for Van Halen fans!
This is by no means my favorite Van Halen album but there are a lot of great tracks here ("Where Have All the Good Times Gone!" "(Oh) Pretty Woman" "Dancing in the Street" and "Little Guitars"), most of which are covers. There is also "Big Bad Bill (Is Sweet William Now)" which really has no place on a hard rock album. So if you're expecting a blistering hard rock assault from start to finish this is not the Van Halen album for you. But if you can overlook the band's indulgences there is a lot to enjoy here. Recommended for Van Halen fans.
