Very Pleasent Surprise.
The quality far exceeds the price. VERY well thought out and functions very smoothly when put onto or taken off of my TC Hawken Style Rifle. Excellent quality beautifully oil finished leather*, solidly installed brass snap, fits perfectly. Function exceeds expectations. Product is a very simple and somewhat elegant solution that also serves to protect the lock assembly of the firearm from dings and scratches as well as keeping your powder dry.
* This has chemicals that may react to metal, and I would not store my weapon with this in place. - ( not a negative comment here, the it is not a storage case.)

Well made, no frills, AFFORDABLE- product quality comprable to more costly optics.
I was informed of the value of Barska optics several years ago thru a friend who has probably 25 years blackpowder experience.. These scopes are tough. Glad I bought it.
