Solid product, but not an Orbweaver
I use pads like the Tartarus v2 not only for gaming , but to speed up tasks in various production tools and my daw. The Tartarus v2 is capable, but while it costs about the same as my old Orbweaver Chroma (the second pic below), it is not adjustable and hence not as comfortable when used for hours.
If you are moving from an older Razer pad, be aware that the company does not provide a migration tool for your keybindings/macros. In the Orbweaver to Tartarus case, there is only one change, the scroll wheel replaced key twenty and even that has the keypress. If you have several profiles on an older pad, be prepared for the frustration of tracking down all your hard earned settings and manually reentering EVERYTHING.
I'm not big on LED lighting (why be distracted in low light by your tools?) and my units are all locked on blue, so I can't really comment on the light show options Razer has provided for the Tartarus v2.
I'm going to keep the Tartarus v2, but really only because I expect my Orbweaver to die eventually and consider the Tartarus v2 an acceptable alternative.

Solid center pin reel
Picked up this reel to upgrade my second (had an Okuma Aventa as second) and have been quite pleased. The reel starts up fairly quickly on our rivers (Oregon) though I haven't fished any swims on anything really slow yet. It holds plenty of line for those fish that want to spool you out, finger feathers/drags very smoothly, and pairs well with my TFO 13' for exciting fights. As with the majority of cp reels, I don't think the clicker is meant for anything but holding the reel stopped while moving; I would not expect it to hold as a fishing drag (and really haven't tested it as such). All in all, a great entry level price on a solid reel.
BlackStar HT Dual Valve Tube pre-amp guitar pedal with power supply, extra tube

Works great for me with a lower gain tube
1 of 1 found this helpful Note: I don't like heavily distorted but this pedal is VERY heavy on the distortion... stock. IF, however, you are willing to swap the 12AX7 out for a 5751 (what I normally use) or a 12AY7 (this sounds good as well, just a different good), it becomes much better than just usable. I use it for guitar in places where I can't fire up my tube amp (home when the wife is trying to sleep, for example) and for harmonica when feeding a sound system. I do wish it had different low/mid/high controls for the two different channels, but accept that with customization, this is closer to what I wanted in an overdrive pedal than the starved tube options. With either the 5751 or the 12AY7, it sounds great for blues or more mellow rock. Stock with a 12AX7, it probably would appeal to metal heads or grunge, but is unplayable even at minimum gain on the first channel for what I like to do. That said, it only loses one star because of the difficulty swapping the tube (the board it plugs into is NOT well secured and GREAT care is needed to keep from damaging it).
