Correct part number, wrong description.
The description is a bit off but the part number is correct. This is not a head gasket but rather the rubber seal for the plastic CCV/oil separator that bolts to the top of the aluminum valve cover. And it is a genuine Mercedes part for the 2.7L diesel engines in early Freightliner/Dodge/Mercedes Sprinters. For what it is, the price is very steep. But it's the correct seal to replace if you have any oil leaking from the CCV/oil separator. I took off one star for it's cost, it is expensive at all sources I found.

Well worth it. If you liked the film you should enjoy the book as well.
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm half way through and don't want to put it down. I'm not articulate enough to give a review that does this book justice. But after watching, and liking, the movie I like the book as well. The book is more detailed and gives a different account of some of what was depicted in the movie. But so far, both the movie and book stand well on their own. Each enhances the other's account of her journey and neither detracting from the other. If you liked the film I bet you will enjoy the book as well. I particularly like her take on the struggles of the Aborigines and her stories about the camels.

Awesome sauce indeed! Perfect OEM fit for my 2006 Tundra tail gate latch rods.
Perfect fit for the tail gate latch rods on my 2006 Toyota Tundra. Ebay's parts matching will say these do not fit, but trust me they fit perfectly. They are a little larger and thicker, but fit exactly the same as the OEM clips in the areas where it counts. For 30 yrs I've been a mechanic/technician/grease monkey or whatever they want to call me these days, and I am very picky about the parts I use in my own cars and bikes. I searched high and low for the original clips but they only come with the more expensive hard parts. These were a gem of a find and thank you to the seller for offering them in a pair. I recommend buying two sets of these (two of each number) so you can replace all four clips while you are at it and have another dozen or more years of trouble free tail gate fun. Spray a little silicone lube on the pivoting bits in the latches and handle while you are at it too.
