Works well enough as a clock, that is all it can do.

The hour/min buttons work to set the time, but do nothing when it's in Timer mode. Select any of the three timers you want; none of the time buttons work. Completely useless, except as a clock. Hold buttons down, press lots of times, try whatever you can think of, it does not "time" anything. Pity.

Fantastic idea, shoddy execution.

I've had about 6 of these over the years, with varying brand-names on the same timer, and I'm tired of replacing them. Drop it, or even jar it moderately hard, and it stops working. Heck, sometimes they stop working for no apparent reason. The door to the battery sometimes breaks its tabs off, and tape does not do it (glue works, but then it must be disassembled to reset it when it fails - which it will). I love the idea of these. When I was in pastry school, I could clip it to my whites and track everything I had in the ovens. But if it fell/got bumped off of my whites, it broke. Aside from the wretched life-expectancy, this is a great product. Buy four if you can, just in case. Or, better yet, purchase a well-made product.
