Original batteries are best bet!

I could have saved a few dollars by ordering a "replacement" battery from overseas sources. Some might even be the same battery but how do you tell! With the issues with LiIon batteries these days why risk a "replacement" use the original manufacturers battery and it is, in my opinion, a much safer choice! This is the DELL battery it fits exactly, it charges properly and keeps the machine... all Dell!

WZR-RS-G54 A VPN in a BOX!

My review is a little late as Buffalo has discontinued this great little router!!! Call them and raise a little concern. It is easy to setup for basic networking and provides very good solid, not needed to be rebooted, connections. The VPN is not the easiest thing to get setup but its not difficult either. At least you don't need any expensive additional software to get a true VPN setup. Once you have the VPN setup, it is very easy to add connections on the computer side. You just ADD a Network Connector in 2000, XP, or even Vista (wow!!!) I have several of these in place at different locations. They are all SUPER! and I hope Buffalo brings this one (or one like it) back!!!!

Great Little Receiver

On receipt, I charged the unit, turned it on and within a couple of minutes had a moving map on my Black Berry. (Since Black Berry didn't have a GPS in it.) Then I connected it up to my pentop, installed some Aviation Software and within minutes had full moving map with outstanding accuracy. (Yes it is as close as the GNS430/530 WAAS systems just not certified in any way!) I really think this unit has nearly all anyone needs in a small compact unit which is easy to setup and easy to use. I will be getting the USB data cable for it as soon as possible. (Not that the bluetooth is not great, just that there are times and machines that don't have bluetooth ability.) Too bad Holux doesn't include the data cable as part of the unit. Really too bad they didn't use a "standard" mini USB cable as well! Other than that, I am a real happy user!
