A replacement part that resolves the original issues.
The old unit was sticky with melted rubber over the button and inconsistent in function. With the help of some Youtube video instruction I was able to replace it pretty easily with this new unit. New unit works smoothly and no stickiness around the button. Very nice change of pace, it works the way it was originally intended. Very happy with my purchase.

Important component and hard to find replacements
The most basic/important blade in the set, I had to find a replacement because the original was lost when the processor was borrowed by a neighbor. Replacements for this blade are hard to find and the one I found is in good condition. After purchasing the neighbor found the original, so now I have two.
