About
A retired antiques restorer who goes to yard sales and picks up junque to refurbish. I changed my eBay name when I moved away from Toronto because it previously implied Bay Street.

images were satisfactory, BUT
1 of 1 found this helpful The case is strong and remarkably inconspicuous for what it has to have for a front face.
The range of detection is about the range of good focus for the lens.
Be aware of just how short a distance 30 feet is (10 meters)
The mounting system is a whole 'nother thing.
It is poorly designed and difficult to adjust so it points right where you want. Trees are not smooth vertical surfaces, but this device needs one for mounting. The swivel head is unable to be locked securely in position with the thumbscrew, nor does the camera style mounting post attach tight enough.
The combination of the two make it almost impossible to remove and reinsert the memory chip without changing where the camera points.
It is difficult to see what the lens is looking at while setting the thing in place as there is no preview system, and no way to attach a digital cable to view the output even if the access door is open to change the card.
I think the case design needs some upgrade for mounting rigidity, and there should be a way to look at the image the lens is going to produce before switching on and locking the thing up for a long observation mission.
Not ready for prime time, and the sum of the parts is worth a few bucks at most compared to the price demanded, so the design factor that would create value is missing.
Just barely adequate at best.
