I'm a retired gardener who is passionate about tomatoes. I've been growing tomatoes for 58 years now and when I tasted my 1st garden fresh tomato on a cheeseburger I was hooked on home grown tomatoes.
While doing research on cancer prevention we came across an article from the Mayo Cancer Center on the benefits of Anthocyanin, an amazing chemical in blue berries, blackberries, tomatoes... that is a powerful antioxidant known to prevent many types of cancer. Mom successfully survived several bouts of breast cancer and we believe it was because of healthy eating of organic fruits, veggies, and exercise in her garden.
As an avid gardener, I'm now teaching younger gardeners at our local community garden, and sharing healthy tasty produce at our local farmers market. I've been saving seeds for 30+ yrs. and have over 1000 tasty varieties of tomatoes and veggies to share with you.

Fantastic book covering Japanese Maples from A to Z
A comprehensive book on Japanese Maples. Well written, informative, and thoroughly captivating. The Japanese maple is one of the most beautiful trees with ever changing color schemes from spring to the showcase fall splendor. The photos in this book are wonderful at capturing the grandeur of the diversity of Japanese Maples.
I own the third edition of this book and must say The 4th edition is well worth the money. Over 200 additional cultivars in vivid color with detailed descriptions. This is the best book on Japanese Maples I've had the pleasure to read. I find myself coming back to re read details on many varieties and am now generating a list of new tree varieties to add to our landscape. The Authors have done a magnificent job and I highly recommend this book. If you love Japanese maples, this is a must own book!
