Nicee but pricee.....!

damage on arrival

Canin iX4000 - review
...I've had this printer for about 2 months - as the previous reviewer states - it's bit "clunky" when initially loading paper but very quiet once printing is underway. Colour accuracy straight out the box was excellent...when compared to both screen colours and photo scans (using a Canon scanner)...Slightly reddish and warm but that's a facet of all Canons (well known). It's only failing is pure black and white printing ... the blacks are almost sepia'ish....!
It doesn't seem to use the black cartridge for anything but text - the black in BW printing simply uses the Cyan/Magenta/Yellow to produce black...
Other wise a very good printer - good A3+ right down to 6x4's
