It was cheap,...worth what I paid, no more....
Spring loaded center is the main problem. First , the spring is much to strong. Second, there is too much "slop" in the pin center. It does a very bad job of being actually centered. Can be off by as much as 1/8 of an inch !
Other complaint is that the punches are just not sharp enough to cut nicely through most materials.
Unit was inexpensive,...but in hind-sight would have paid more for a better punch set !

Book was NEW and signed by author, Very happy !
I have an interest in persons connected directly or indirectly with Tuskegee Institute. Harriet Beecher Stowe's grandson was the co-author of a book about George Washington Carver's life . This is a great addition to historical info. and I love having books signed by the author,..it seems to add a note of "connection" with the book and it's writer !

Works, but lightweight.
Product does work for a "light" load. Unit is plastic and has a thin plastic line, so it is not meant to hold more than 15 lbs or so, a few shirts and a sheet perhaps. If it was heavier duty, made of metal and had a stronger line it would probably be worth the extra cost of upgrading.
It works,..but don't think it will hold up very long.
