OEM Choke control with cable was an easy fix
Three screws to remove the old, stuck, bound up choke control. The new one is an exact match that solved the problem. An easy fix with the right part.

Urge to watch, Bogey and Hepburn in The African Queen
Why did I buy it? I was influenced by the mosquitoes in my garden. Their swarming reminded me of the scene where Charlie and Rose were enveloped by swarms of the little buggers. It was then that I thought to myself that I would like to see that film again, so I checked Amazon and eBay. I ordered the cheapest one I could find. The film was everything I expected, more quaint than I had remembered. It was more colorful than I remembered as I'm sure that the last time I had watched it was on a black and white TV. Delivery was a little slow, as it was mailed under the Media rate. My wife enjoyed seeing it for the first time.

Tiller runs like new
After tinkering unsuccessfully with the old carburetor, including a thorough cleaning and the replacement of the pump diaphragm, I decided to take things up a notch. Replacing the carburetor did the trick. Easy starting, smooth running, good to go. Make sure you observe the caveat about not removing the pivot screw. That almost became an issue. I expect years of service from the tiller.
