1 of 1 found this helpful I was looking for a short zoom lens for my Canon 5D Mark II that I just recently acquired. I didn't want to spend the money on an L lens. This lens got great reviews and they were all true. Some say it is hard to tell the difference in the photo quality between this one and an L lens. I guess that is why they are hard to find. It is tack sharp and focuses fast. Great saturation of colors and contrast. I lucked out and caught one that was just listed on a buy it now.

Once you go FX you will never go back!
You will love everything about this camera. If you are thinking of finally taking the plunge into a full frame camera and can find a 5D MKll at a reasonable price do it. You won't be sorry. Check out the pictures taken with my recently acquired Canon 5D MK ll. The lens is a Canon 28-70 1:3.5-4.5 ll. Great lens for the money.
