Lightweight with versatile features
I like this top very much because it is very soft and comfortable. There are two colors in the trimming so it can be worn with several different colored pants.

Southern regional cookbook
2 of 2 found this helpful I decided to buy this book because I had heard so many positive reports about her restaurant. I also recalled that the book was recommended to Rachel Ray when I was watching one of her travel shows. This is much more than just a cookbook! The story of her life growing up in North Carolina was so interesting. While reading her story, I felt as if she were sitting there talking to me. Since I am a Southern, the stories are so typical of the ones heard from older generations regardless of race. The recipes are easy to follow and I love the comments with many of them. Once again, you feel she is right there talking with you and you just want to get in the kitchen and start cooking. I definitely will treasure this one and would highly recommend it to anyone who loves history as well as good food. I salute her for her courage and hard work and may her success and influence continue!

Easy to follow recipes and delicious results.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is the second book that I have bought. I gave the first one to a friend who loves making desserts and is a terrific baker. She was very impressed and many of the recipes have become family favorites. She has shared the some of the recipe with her granddaughter and niece to encourage them to cook as the recipes are not complicated even for beginners. I have always admired Paula Deen and enjoyed her cooking shows on the food network. I am keeping this book for myself. One of my family's favorite recipes is Not Yo' Mama's Banana Pudding. I had a hard time finding the instant French Vanilla Pudding and the Pepperidge Farm Chessmen cookies are a little more expensive than vanilla wafers. However, it was well worth the extra effort and expense! The majority of the recipes are easy and the ingredients are ones that you normally have in your pantry. The cover with the picture of Paula and her sons just brings a smile to your face as they radiate such love and joy. I also like the way the book is designed and the layout. The smaller spiral bound size is much easier to manage for someone who has arthritic fingers like I do.
