This desk stand is plastic.

This desk stand is made entirely of plastic. For the price, I expected powdercoated aluminum or sheet metal. As delivered, this item costs about 75 cents to manufacture. I did not see anything in the description to indicate I was getting an inexpensive plastic control head stand.

It is hard to go wrong with factory Ford parts.

This is the same high quality parts used in production. It has a steel core sandwiched between gasket material. The kit came with factory manifold studs and nuts as well as collector gaskets and studs. I have not seen an aftermarket gasket set that equals the quality of this set.
