Prevent glass injuries with an easy-to-use tool.
This little item was recommended by instructors when I took a course in stained glass. It helps safely and easily break glass along the cut line with no danger to hands or fingers. I'd definitely recommend it.

Good gripping surfaces.
This is the kind of cutter I learned to use initially in stained glass. It's sturdy and has a good surface for gripping. Putting in the cutting oil can be just a tiny tricky first time, but there's a really rapid learning curve on it. Going from the cutting to the other end, there are times you'll have to give glass a good rap to make it cooperate in breaking - that tip is just right for this. Overall, it's one of my favorite tools.
