Good for the money, BUT PLEASE NOTE.....
1 of 1 found this helpful These are good FOR THE MONEY. The particle board is fairly soft, so you have to absolutely make SURE you get your speaker centered and get all the screw holes drilled with as big a wood margin around them as possible. Don't drill the holes too big and don't over-tighten the screws. I mounted a pair of fairly high-end Polk coaxials in them and there is essentially NO bass output at all. I mean, ZERO bass. So plan on using these with a subwoofer. These are functional if you are very careful when mounting your speakers. You get what you pay for. But, like I said, I do think these are pretty good for the very low price you pay for them.

look good, feel grippy, but move around
1 of 1 found this helpful These do have the raised mating surfaces (ledge, or lip) on the underside but they allow more free play than the standard wood grips. This, combined with the slippery surfaces, allows them to slide around a little even when tightened down. I am afraid to REALLY REALLY crank down the screw since the nut is embedded in the rubber and I'm afraid it'll tear out. So they look good, and do feel grippier than the wood stocks, but they slide (rotate) slightly when rotational forces are applied. The inner lip does prevent them from rotating very far but it does allow some rotation. And it's just my opinion, but I think they are way too expensive for what they are. Seems like they should actually be priced at about 6 bucks. Just my opinion.
