Excellent light to mid overdrive pedal
Apart from a tube screamer for light overdrive , this is amazing to get the mid to heavy overdrive sounds you need for gigs . More options than you probably need but it's nice to have them . Think Man I feel like a woman start sounds and Simply the best overdrives , not Metal. Nice form factor , very compact , easy controls and difficult to dial in a bad sound . Well made and Walrus audio quality at a decent (not cheap ) price. Glad I gave one a go , like Gordon Banks ( Google him ) its a keeper !

Excellent value , but has its limitations 🤔
Quickly , the good bits
Easy to set up great sound , it took minutes to set up great sounding Pink Floyd / Shadows patches
Sounds excellent, gig-able, through guitar amp
Has funky monkey effect , a great envelope / wah tone
Loads of options for the price
The not so good bits
A bit fiddly to name patches , change parameters
The pre sets aren’t that good ( like most multi fx at this price)
No stereo fx ( most headphone amps of this type , Zoom , Boss etc have a stereo chorus or ping pong delay to broaden / sweeten the sound when wearing headphones
Sounds flat / uninteresting wearing headphone , see above
This was a lock down purchase , and was very disappointed on first try through headphones , but after pushing it through a guitar amp I could see me using it live or at open mic nights. Would like to try the more expensive Mooer fx pedals as this sounds way better than it should at this price , but in my opinion really should have a stereo effect to sweeten the sound when wearing headphones , a solid 7 out of ten , if that means anything 😊👍

Best value rotary pedal
I was sceptical about its sound and build quality , it’s as good as many twice the price . The best excuse to buy an extra guitar amp so you can run this is stereo , not much use live , but for practice it really gets the creative juices flowing . For me , the octave facility is a bit of a gimmick but if you need some extra sounds it’s okay.The overdrive fills out the sound and is a nice touch. If you’re in the market for something different from the usual chorus / phaser its a no brainier , Creams Badge /Floyds Breathe is a just foot switch away 😊👍
