2006 Honda Accord Sedan EX-L
6 of 6 found this helpful Puchased vehicle based on the previous 1997 Accord Sedan LX.....normal maintenance, no repairs, sold at 111,000 miles to a friend. Bought new 2006, have 42,000 miles, no problems, have replaced 2 bulbs, doing synthetic 10w30, so far flawless. Upgrades over 1997 about 50, remarkable. Mileage about 27 in city, 33 on road (even with the 10w30). Only option that I would like to have but was not offered is Traction Control, how come HONDA? The 4 cylinder and transmission are very smooth, and plenty of power (quite an improvement over the 97, these are my wife's comments). The 97 transmission had harsh/sudden shifts, the 06 is very subtle and smooth. Roomier inside than old 97. The leather, heated seats, lumbar support are great. Best change...new metal timing belt, no more timing belt woes!!!!
