Blackhawk 90TPL1BK Tactical Pistol Lanyard Coiled, Black
    Jan 12, 2016
    Well constructed leash!
The Blackhawk 90TPL1BK Tactical Pistol Lanyard is quite well constructed. The nylon strap connects to the pistol in a positive manner that eliminates the potential for an accidental release. The lanyard has a beefier feel than most and the swaged ends are quite stout. The coil tension is greater than other ones I've used and should retain their memory well. The belt connector is made of 1-1/2 inch wide nylon webbing with strong Velcro style loop and hook material. I purchased this lanyard to replace other inferior lanyards that either failed or were not reliable to stay connected. Metal snaps for connecting to the kit or belt are easily unsnapped by snagging, Metal snap links are bend-able and once distorted they never function properly again. This led to an hour long search in the Arizona desert to locate my Glock that became unattached while riding an ATV. The metal connector also adds wear and tear to the weapon. A polymer connecting point such as found on the Glock wears out, with time.
