I wouldn’t run an external without one.
Pre filters make life much easier when keeping your water quality in optimum condition and crystal clear. Added bonus is it also picks up juvenile snails that you can remove when you’re rinsing your filters out. I wouldn’t dream of running an external filter nowadays without adding an Eheim
Pre Filter into the mix.

Can't be sure of the ma stated and have no way of testing ithem but from reading reports on Internet forums I seriously doubt it.
However they do what they are supposed to do and the price is right as people say, no doubt I will be buying more of the same at some point.

A classic.
I thought it a good idea that I refresh myself with Trainspottjng before watching the sequel T2 at the cinema. Just as good as the first time I saw it.
