And I ordered an extra one for a gift!
Am enjoying this newer version of the "Low Rider" 16oz. coffee/beverage mug. It's wide base
with non-skid pads keep it right-side-up and in place any where you would set your cup down.
My earlier version of this mug was a gift from a neighbor who knew I suffered from essential tremor. This style of mug allowed me to continue enjoying my morning coffee - in spite of the
bad effects from caffeine. Eventually a part of that lid closer broke from plastic fatigue.
This newer version now has a rotary closer that does not stress any plastic when opening or
closing. For this review I tested this new lid design by filling the mug completely full of water
and tipping it over with lid in the closed position: All water leaked out in 58 seconds. Ran same
test with lid rotated to open position: All water ran out in 18 seconds. For my purposes this
performance is acceptable.
I have read one comment that this mug is insulated with foam. It is not! The space between the
inner liner and outer shell is air. This air space is enough to keep coffee warm for more than 30
minutes. For cold beverages there is no condensation--No coaster needed.
While plastic containers should not be used to heat liquids in the microwave, this mug is OK to
clean on top rack of the dishwasher. I'm happy to emphasize that it is MADE IN AMERICA!

Good upgrade for the price.
It fits the ceiling box. Quieter than the old paddle blade fan. Easy upgrade!

195/60R14 General Altimax RT43 Tires 86H
1 of 1 found this helpful Years ago I started using General Altimax 195/60R14 tires instead of the OEM 175/65R14 on my
2002 PRIUS. Results: Reduced shoulder wear due to the 20mm wider tread. A more even wear
across the width of tread. A better feel of the road. I retrofitted with TPMS monitors & keep'em at 42psi Front/40 Rear. The speedometer is more accurate using this size vs OEM size. My wife &
I average 44mpg according to the on-board computer. There has been no hydroplaning through
standing water. No experience using these tires on icy roads yet. They are good looking tires
at a reasonable price! WTS
