Joyo Analog Chorus Guitar Effects Pedal, True Bypass

Disappointing

I have a Joyo Vintage Phase pedal that I've used for several years so I decided to get this chorus to go with it. While the chorus effect itself is very nice, the pedal is so noisy that I can't use it.

Great pickup.

I mounted this hot rail style humbucker in the bridge position of my Ibanez RG and I'm very impressed with its performance. Tight and articulate with high gain, pinch harmonics squeal like a stuck pig, and it chugs like a beast when palm muting, all with the sort of fat tone and smooth saturation you can expect from an alnico V magnet. Roll back the volume and it stays articulate with very little fizz. Handles modulation effects very well. If you're modding a Strat or Tele to handle high gain tones, I highly recommend this great pickup.
