Completely different riding experience
I just bought my second one, having worn out the one I bought 15+ years ago. I found I was getting numbness in my scrotal area from the pressure of the seat horn on my groin. This seat eliminated that problem. But: It's a completely different riding experience with no horn. A lot of the steering is done by your thighs as you shift your weight to the right an left. That's why you can bike with your hands off the handlebars. But with no horn, there is nothing between your thighs to transmit your movements to the bike. You have to keep your hands on all the time, or, BOOM. All that said, it's a much more comfortable ride, and a better workout.
