A waste of money
5 of 56 found this helpful I received the device and clicked onto the freeware sites and downloaded the additional required software mentioned. First of all, the pages I came to didn't really appear as the instructional material directed me to. Upon unzipping the files listed as best as I could figure things out, I couldn't find the names of any of the items I was to click on to. While I'm sure that the device does work on some peoples computers, it would have been nice to have received a CD that would automatically download everything needed to successfully operate the device. The best I can say about this deal is, at least I have a nifty little magnetic base antenna that I can use with either my fm radio or my public service radio scanner.

Blood Tracker Flashlight
I purchased this flashlight in hopes that I could find a blood tracker light that actually worked. The others I had purchased were either ineffective or were just merely slightly better than a regular flashlight. While the price was a bit prohibitive simply to be taking a chance on a product, I certainly was familiar with Gerber products. I carried a Gerber in the military and also owned Gerber knives in the civilian world and knew their products to be top notice and decided to take a chance on it.
Upon receiving the light, and testing it out on some dried blood, the blood popped right out of the back ground. Depending upon the actual shade of the dried blood, it almost appears to luminescent! This light actually works! I can now hunt right up until the last minute of legal hours and be confident I can follow a blood trail of a hit deer if it travels any distance at all.
I'm a retired state game warden here in Tennessee and so wished I had such a light back when I was working to locate areas to be further tested with luminol and hemosticks (presumptive blood testing materials) when I was investigating wildlife criminal activity. Any law enforcement officer reading this would do well to get your department to purchase one of these lights for each officer as it would be a great investigative tool in addition to it's intended purpose for hunters.

The just about perfect crossbow scope!
3 of 4 found this helpful The clarity and light gathering abilities of this scope are fantastic. It is rugged, the clicks of windage and elevation are positive. While it is easy to adjust with, or without, the exact "muzzle velocity" of your arrow being known (a ball park idea is just fine), you do have to work at it a little bit to get the best speed ring vs elevation adjustment with your particular arrow and broadhead combination. This is really no big deal and it's probably to be expected with any such scope. Whenever I purchase a scope, I'm always concerned if there will be enough ocular adjustment as I wear reading glasses (+2.0) and I was pleased to find that there was more than enough adjustment available to accommodate my eyes without having to wear glasses when hunting. The pupil exit and eye relief are very generous with this scope which is a big plus! About the only thing that I would like a bit better is ever so slightly thicker/larger reticle lines and range numbers. Of course this is a personal preference on my part, but it should in no way discourage a person with similar preferences to not purchase this scope. Long story short............ if someone broke in and stole it from me tonight, I'd be ordering another one just like it tomorrow! Great product Excalibur.......... you did good!
