Good laser for those who can afford it, if you can find it go with the Holosun LE117G. It's only $100 more.
Good well made product, just awfully pricey. The 300+ price tag was a bit steep. I returned it and purchased a Sightmark LoPro mini laser for a third of the cost (around $100). The Holosun looks extremely well made with an aluminum body and a very professional feel. I had originally purchased the unit because it was advertised with a High/Low brightness feature on the green laser. This was incorrect. The laser was not correctly described on the Holosun website either. I contacted Holosun and they said they would correct the issue. The adjustable brightness is available in the Holosun LE117G (that is the elite model which retails for about $399 but is hard to find). If felt like the Sightmark was a well made laser (not quite as nice or well constructed as the Holosun but like I said, about a third of the price) it has some nice features with a on/off switch on either side of the box which makes it easier for left and right handed people. Plus it has the plug in switch on the back for remote operation. My only complaint about the Sightmark is the laser beam itself is not centered on the mount which means the laser is offset slightly (but once you know this its easy to adjust for it). Overall If you want the better quality and can afford it, I would go with the Holosun. If you're a cheapskate like me, go with the Sightmark.
