Polaris Box
I purchased this storage box from a Honda dealer thinking it was made by Honda for Honda but upon receiving it, found that not to be true. The ad stated the "brand" was Honda. That's just not so. It was designed t be used on a Polaris.
If you are looking to purchase a box for your Pioneer 500, buy a Honda made box. It is designed to be used on your unit. I do not recommend this product for the Pioneer.

3 of 5 found this helpful This is a great unit that was easy to set up and works flawlessly. When the pump is on high it will actually climb the vertical wall. (But only on the start-up high cycle). I do wonder how it will be functioning after a couple of years of use as it is made completely of plastic. How much suction will it have after the plastic parts have been spinning together for hours and hours? I did receive the factory rebate of $100 in about 4 weeks. It came in the form of a prepaid debit card which can be a hassle using at times , but I can live with that. The eBay seller (pool-store) was five star service all the way!! I would gladly deal with them again.

Well made product.
I have yet to try it on the water for crappies, but I can tell you it assembled and installed quite easily. Being aluminum I was expecting it to be light as a feather, but it is much heavier than expected. It is solidly made!! I did run into some interference issues with my bow mounted trolling motor. It was a simple adjustment of the port rod holder being turned inboard to give me the extra clearance I needed. Well made!! Great job Millennium Marine!
