Auction ended, second day, seller's message, I now find the parcel does not fit the Royal Mail listed size, medium parcel 10kg for weight 2.88kg. size 61cm/24in for 17in draw tube. replacement battery for Motorola V3
Perfect replacement which arrived promptly . It was easy to fit and has proved to work well.

Low cost and effective
It is unusual to find a disc of 100mm (Most small discs are 115mm) and there are still examples of grinders out there which will not accept a 115mm disc.
This disc will fit in an earlier Hitachi grinder without having to first remove the guard, so it enables me to continue using a perfectly sound machine which would otherwise have to be thrown away for lack of suitable consumables.

DWE315B 240v Multi Cutter
I chose this for several reasons. The ease of blade change is obviously handy and works perfectly. I have a strong dislike of slide switches and separate variable speed controls and the switch on this cutter gets over that very well.
Its a little bigger than some others , but is easier to hold steady for more precise cuts.
Call me old fashioned but since I no longer have to worry about site work,and it's insurance driven requirements,a 240v tool is ideal for most of the work I am likely to encounter.
A robust and well designed and well made tool.
