Two of Us - A Reconciliation
There’s not a lot written or put to film about the Beatles during the 70’s, post-breakup. Especially about once extremely close friends John & Paul. The Beatles breakup was hard on them and their relationship. This movie gives us a day of them back together trying to mend some of the bridges that were broken when the Beatles split. Paul has moved on musically and formed a new band (Wings), while John has taken a step back and shut himself off from the limelight and pretty much the world. Seeing the two together even in a portrayal is wonderful. The two actors do a fine job capturing the two icons and their portrayal doesn’t come off as a caricature as I feared and I was really impressed. Just a wonderful experience overall watching “A Day in the Life” of these to geniuses of Rock & Roll. Okay
